Our ingnition on our gas BBQ broke last year, I was previously using one of those clicker lighters with the long end but it was slightly too big to fit easily between the BBQ grates so it kept getting stuck and was really awkward. These are perfect, long enough to fit right into the BBQ and they are thin so don't get stuck.

these matches must be OK because i have brought them a few times now. There down fall can be two fold, the box striking side sometimes wears out before the matches are used up and i hate it when the striking end of the match falls off the wood while striking.

These extra long safety matches are excellent. They make it so much easier to reach down into a large jar candle to light the candle when it has burned down in the jar. Previously, I was at risk of burning my fingers, but these matches remove that risk altogether. I also like the box the matches come in, very attractive and looks nice on my coffee table.
