Purchased for my wife for part of her Christmas stocking. She loves them but notes that one or two of the matches are a little weak and break in half when attempting to ignite. Reasonable value for money but a little cheaper would be nicer to really make me return for more next Christmas.

Completely defective, every match broke or didn’t light. The lighting agent at the top of the match even slipped off when trying to light it.

Lovely bottle of white matches BUT the matches are actually useless! Firstly the match head flakes or breaks off during striking, sometimes it strikes but doesn't light but mainly it just crumbles off leaving the match useless. Takes about 6 matches to get something lit! Also the material on the bottom of the bottle to strike the match on has worn away before I've even used a few of the matches so all in all not a great purchase. Looks great though if you just want a bottle of matches and not to actually use them.

I think the beautiful bottle and strip on the bottom is a great concept but the strip doesn’t work and the matches are so weak. I used 5 or 6 before I even got it to light. The matches broke and crumbled. I wouldn’t buy again, Such a shame

If you are going to charge £15 for a few matches you could at least have the decency to provide a way of lighting them. The stricker for the match is a sticker on the base of the jar. It fell off on the first strike of a match (without lighting it). Joke of a product and don’t waste your money.
