We bought this for our Lego crazy Daughter. She resisted Christmas due to her first rest after making Christmas dinner. Boxing day she brought it out and completed it within four and half hours. The details are amazing and we all love the strip of film with Disney film scenes such as Mickey Mouse and Beauty and the Beast. Our Daughter was thrilled and a good alternative to Harry Potter. We just couldn't remember which ones she has. Think it is definitely a challenge to those who don't do many Lego sets

About 5-6 decades ago I was really into Lego, but haven’t used it since. I have often looked at recent Lego kits and wanted to have a go, but have been put off by the lack of space I have to display any completed models. It always seems such a shame to dismantle them once built. Recently I saw this particular kit and thought it was excellent for long term display, so I took the plunge. Bearing in mind that this is the first kit I have built in many decades, I am reviewing it as a standalone product rather than relative to other Lego kits. My thoughts are presented below. Pros:- - There were no missing parts. In fact there were several ‘spare’ parts provided. These were mainly small parts and I suspect they are the most commonly requested missing parts as analysed by the manufacturer. In case you still have any parts missing or lost, there is a means to request these from Lego which is good to see - There is an excellent quality booklet with build instructions provided. However, there are also 3D build instruction in the Lego Builders app. I used these instruction on an Android tablet and they were absolutely brilliant. I never got lost once during the build process - The parts are arranged in six numbered bags in assembly order. This is an excellent idea as it means you have less parts to sort through when building each stage and also there is less chance of losing any parts - All the parts fitted together perfectly Cons:- Its very hard to think how this kit could be improved, but two minor areas spring to mind. - It would be better if the six numbered bags were Ziplock bags. If you then ever needed to dismantle the model you could more easily store the parts in their original bags - If the box the kit is supplied in were top opening rather than side opening, it would make it easier to get everything in and out when building. Overall this kit is excellent. What initially looks to be a high price, is in my opinion justified by the quality of the kit and build instructions. Highly recommended.
