There is quite a lot in this small pack and it was very useful in a reminisce setting with someone who was in their 20s in the 1950s. The clothing catalogue was certainly of interest & provoked some discussion and there is a nice little set of movie stars which started a 'guess who' game. I think it's really good for people who might have had their first home together in the era. A ration book for the early part of the decade, then as living standards improved, a radio rentals brochure. What model of TV was the first your older relative had in the home? There are reminders of other household items and decor here too. An interesting pack at an affordable price.

Really lovely content in this pack! Full of different items, great for scrapbooking and other paper crafts (which is what I’m using it for) and great delivery service! Thank you! :)

Arrived in good time. I have purchased three of these sets from the same buyer. And I am very pleased with them. I purchased them for my 87 year old mum, to help with her memory. But I found them fascinating. They look like the genuine things (mum will let me know if they are), there is a good range of items that anyone around during the 1950's will find them interesting and will jog their memory. I think they would also be a brilliant teaching tool for children. Something tangible from the past.

I have relatives who married in the 1950's and this is an excellent novelty present for their wedding anniversary. Gets everyone talking and reminiscing instantly - so much fun and better than a box of chocolates. I've also bought different sets to take to elderly relatives as a tool to get them talking about the past. This has been very useful when interviewing relatives for my family history project and they enjoy unlocking their hidden memories too.

I bought these for my Mum and other home residents in their 90s but was a little disappointed that they were so small many of them could not see them well enough to recognise them.

Both my husband and mum have a degree of memory loss. A great tool to encourage conversation. Sending Gratitude.
